Allyson Ta is a live music photographer based out of San Diego, California. Allyson’s work focuses on capturing the moment of thrill and passion between performer and audience. An avid fan of music from an early age, Allyson was born and raised in San Diego, California, and attended UC Santa Barbara, where she obtained her B.A. in Communication and Psychology with a minor in music. Since beginning her work as a concert photographer in 2017, Allyson has covered over 100 shows and 7 festivals, ranging from intimate local venues such as Soda Bar and The Casbah to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. With her camera and eye for raw deliverance in live performances, Allyson has photographed a diverse array of genres including hip-hop/rap artists, indie rock artists, and pop artists.
